Milford Animal Clinic
Renovation involved 1,200 sq. ft. of facility. Upgrades were made to the clinic's exam rooms, break room, supply room, and office and waiting area. Renovations included new ceilings, flooring, walls, and casework as well as a facelift on the front of the building with a new storefront door. |
Syracuse Street Department
In Fall 2009, the Syracuse Street Department conpleted an addition at its facility located at 1 Conrad Street. The steel addition contains 5,320 square feet and is used for storing equipment and trucks. |
NIBCO Wellness Facility
The creation of NIBCO's fitness room involved a renovation of 1,900 square feet at NIBCO's 1516 Middlebury Street headquarters. Existing restrooms were converted to ADA-compliant facilities with showers and lockers. The kitchen area was expanded, and part of the former lunch room was converted into the new fitness room. Construction schedules were arranged around keeping the demolition and construction from disrupting ongoing operations. |
Plumrose USA Renovation
A renovation at Plumrose USA involved 4,300 sq. ft. The project included changes and upgrades to the raw goods freezer space, finish packaging area, and materials distribution hallway. The construction crew removed sections of 12 inch-thick solid concrete roof slab, concrete roof planks, and substantial steel structures. Other demolition included removal of built-up roof systems, wood framing and masonry walls. |
L&M Electric
L&M Electric's 812 East Madison Street office building has a stylish new look after the completion of an exterior/interior renovation project. L&M Electric's office space was moved to the west end and enlarged significantly. This included a general office, lobby, conference room, and several private offices. The project involved 2,730 square feet. On the exterior, a new split-faced block, stone and EIFS facade was created across the west end of the building. |
Medtronic Spinal & Biologics
A new 360 sq. ft. entry vestibule at Medtronic in Warsaw provides the company with a new employee entrance. Medtronic collaborates with world-renowned surgeons, researchers, and innovative partners to offer state-of-the-art therapies for spinal, neurological, orthopedic, and oral maxillofacial conditions. |
Shipshewana Auction Offices
Co-owners Kevin and Keith Lambright of The Trading Place constructed new office space from the conversion of one of the cattle auction barns at the Shipshewana Auction and Flea Market. According to DJ Project Manager Howie Mathews, the crew completed the renovations alongside the auctions, which continued throughout the three-month project. It was finished in time for the busy flea market season. |
Sorg Nissan - Warsaw
Located along SR 15 on the north side of Warsaw, the Sorg Nissan building contains 4,700 square feet of renovated space that houses an updated showroom. The facade was also upgraded in accordance with Nissan specifications. The building formerly housed Sorg South and became Sorg Nissan in 2009. It remains under the same local ownership. |
BD Custom Manufacturing - Bristol
Steel manufacturing and storage addition contains 18,055 sq. ft. along with a 1,850 sq. ft. covered truck dock. Used to warehouse finished products and raw materials. Also included a new driveway access to the new docks. During design, DJ was able to maximize the building addition using non-standard bay spacing to bring more usable space at an efficient cost for the owner. |
Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance - Goshen
Renovation at INFBI's Goshen branch on West Lincoln Ave. touched 6,850 sq. ft. and was performed in several phases to allow the client to remain open during regular business hours. Crew worked evenings and weekends to meet a tight schedule. Original office space was rearranged to create new offices, conference room, break room, and restrooms. This was complemented with a total facelift of all remaining areas. |
Old Bag Factory 3rd Floor Renovation - Goshen
New banquet areas on third floor operated by Bread & Chocolate Catering. Renovation created two large areas seating over 150 each and served by new restrooms, bride rooms, food serving areas, full production kitchen and elevator access. The areas were restored to emphasize brick and heavy timber wood framed construction of original buildings dating back to 1896. |
Kropf Industries Re-roof - Goshen Roofing project for Kropf Industries on State Road 15 north of Goshen. Scope of work incuded re-roofing 7,150 square feet of roof over the garage and paint shop. |
