(September 12, 2011) Warsaw Missionary Church has added a multi-purpose space to its 1849 Springhill Road church building in Warsaw. DJ was the general contractor for the project.
The new space is used for worship, fellowship and recreation. It contains 12,730 square feet and includes a new kitchen, lobby, nursery, classrooms and restrooms along with the main multi-purpose area. By dramatically increasing worship and fellowship space and allowing the church to incorporate athletic activities into its ministries, the facility provides the church with many more ministry opportunities.
The addition consists mainly of a steel structure but also includes wood-framed spaces with a shingle roof and brick veneer. The parking area was expanded and is designed to accommodate future expansion as well.
The church's existing facility remained in full use throughout the project. The addition allowed the church to keep its existing space viable while allowing ministries to move forward.
Warsaw Missionary Church is located along US 30 in Warsaw near Kosciusko Community Hospital. Sunday morning worship services take place at 8:00 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. with Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. The church also holds regular activites on Wednesday evenings beginning at 6:30 p.m. For more information about the church and its ministries, please visit the church's website at www.warsawmissionary.org.
DJ President Doug Wogoman is grateful for the chance to partner with the church. "It was obvious to us even at the outset that Warsaw Missionary was passionate about improving their facility so they could serve others in new and better ways," he states. "Finding new opportunities to do life together was central for the mission of the church as they designed and built this new multi-purpose facility. We are truly excited about the ministry opportunities this new project will create for Warsaw Missionary."
