Triangle Rubber and Plastics Completes Addition

(July 12, 2010) Triangle Rubber and Plastics, located at 1801 Eisenhower Dr., has completed a 24,000 square foot addition in partnership with DJ Construction.

Due to increased business, Triangle Rubber and Plastics built the addition to house ten new 720-ton presses.  The addition also contains a 26 ft. eave to hold a 20-ton crane used to install molds in the presses.  Construction started in early November 2009.  DJ Special Projects Superintendent Lon Roth oversaw the project.

Ed Gerwels, owner, says that he is pleased with the addition and would highly recommend DJ Construction.  "I especially appreciate the fact that the project was done on time and on budget," he states.

The partnership between Triangle Rubber and DJ Construction extends over two decades.  This is the third addition DJ has constructed at this facility that DJ originally built in 1997.  With the completion of the addition, the Eisenhower Drive facility contains 60,500 square feet of total space.
