South Bend Clinic Granger Completes Renovation

(December 18, 2009) The South Bend Clinic Granger, located at 52500 Fir Road, recently completed a significant renovation project.  DJ Construction was the general contractor.

The project involved 13,500 square feet and was completed in three phases.  During Phase I, the original mammography/radiology area was converted into physician pods.  Phase II involved an upgrade of the existing physician pods, and Phase III included expansion of the waiting room, which was also updated with new finishes.  The reception area was relocated during Phase III.

The phasing of the project allowed all operations to continue throughout construction.  The construction crew also worked odd schedules in order to complete the work without disrupting operations.

After the completion of this project, one of the other buildings on the South Bend Clinic Granger's campus was also re-shingled.

The South Bend Clinic was founded in 1916 and has provided personal primary and specialized care to its patients since that time.  The clinic currently has over 90 physicians in six major locations serving the Michiana area.
