NIBCO Opens New Fitness Room for Employees

(August 21, 2009) NIBCO now has a new fitness room for its employees.  DJ Construction was the general contractor for the renovation project which involved 1,900 square feet at NIBCO's 1516 Middlebury Street headquarters.

Existing restrooms were converted to ADA-compliant facilities with showers and lockers.  The kitchen area was expanded, and part of the former lunch room was converted into the new fitness room.

The project began in June and followed a tight schedule for its mid-August finish.  Construction schedules were arranged around keeping the demolition and construction from disrupting ongoing operations.
