Jayco Finishes Addition to Motorhome Plant

(July 19, 2010) Jayco, Inc. has completed an addition to its Plant 41 facility in partnership with DJ Construction.  The steel addition contains 30,150 square feet of manufacturing space that includes 6,000 sq. ft. of mezzanine as well as new and renovated areas throughout the building.  The addition is needed to accommodate growing demand for motorhomes produced by the company's Entegra Coach division.

Jayco first approached DJ about this project in December 2009 and asked how quickly the building could be occupied.  After that first meeting, Jayco was using the new space within six months, even as construction progressed over a difficult winter season.

Jayco has teamed up with DJ on over ten significant projects prior to this addition including its corporate office, other manufacturing facilities, and its wellness center.

Jayco, Inc. is the largest privately-held manufacturer of recreational vehicles in North America.  The company markets towable RVs and motorhomes through a network of more than 500 dealers worldwide.
