Two More DJ Construction Employees Receive ASHE Certification

(July 11, 2011) DJ Construction Special Projects Superintendent Doug Troyer and Services Superintendent Robb Huber both received ASHE certification in May.  ASHE (the American Society for Healthcare Engineering of the American Hospital Association) creates and oversees this healthcare construction certification program.

The overall purpose of attaining ASHE Certification is "to gain a higher level of learning and experience as related to healthcare construction."  This involves improving awareness, knowledge, and understanding of the healthcare construction environment with the end goal of improving the quality of patient care.

As Special Projects Superintendent, Troyer oversees smaller construction projects and renovations in DJ Construction's Special Projects department.  He has been with the company for 14 years and is a graduate of Northridge High School.  He lives in Middlebury with wife, Kristi, and children Hadley, Hayden, and Noah.  The family attends Middlebury Church of the Brethren, and Troyer is also a volunteer with the Middlebury Fire Department.

Huber manages the service department, follows up on warranties, executies small jobs, and makes tool purchases in his role as Services Superintendent.  He is a graduate of the ABC Apprenticeship Program and of Northridge High School.  He has been with DJ for 17 years.  Huber lives with wife, Kristin, and children Emily and Evan in Goshen.  They attend Crystal Valley Missionary Church.

Troyer and Huber's certification allows DJ Construction to continue to provide top-notch service and follow up care to its clients in the healthcare industry.  Estimator Pat Gross and Project Manager Dan Jacobs also attained ASHE certification in 2009.
