Goshen Center for Wound Healing Project Complete

(March 1, 2010)  Goshen Health System partnered with DJ Construction to create the new spaces for Goshen Center for Wound Healing and the adjacent offices of Gerig Surgical Associates, located in the old Park Pharmacy building just south of Goshen College along State Road 15.  Read more. 

Terry's Cleaning and Restoration Completes Addition

(February 2, 2010)  Terry's Cleaning and Restoration has completed an addition at its 1916 Hemlock Court building in Goshen.  DJ was the building partner for the project.  Read more. 

Mobile Climate Control Completes Renovation

(January 26, 2010)  Mobile Climate Control recently completed a 1,000 sq. ft. interior renovation project at its 17103 State Road 4 facility in Goshen, built and coordinated by DJ Construction.  Read more. 

Interra Credit Union Opens New Nappanee Branch

(January 25, 2010)  Interra Credit Union recently opened a new Nappanee branch located at the east corner of the intersection of Oakland Ave. and US 6. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on January 18th to commemorate the opening of the new branch.  Read more. 

Bremen Church of the Brethren Completes New Church Building

(January 18, 2010)  Bremen Church of the Brethren has officially moved into its brand new building at 921 Woodies Lane in Bremen.  A dedication service took place on January 10th.  DJ Construction was the church's building partner.  Read more.   

L&M Electric, Inc. Completes Major Renovation

(January 4, 2010)  L&M Electric's 812 East Madison Street office building has a stylish new look after the completion of an exterior/interior renovation project.  The company partnered with DJ Construction for the project.  Read more.                                  

South Bend Clinic Granger Completes Renovation

(December 18, 2009)  The South Bend Clinic Granger, located at 52500 Fir Road, recently completed a significant renovation project.  DJ Construction was the general contractor.  Read more. 

DJ Construction Honors Ten Year Employees 

(December 14, 2009)  DJ Construction recently honored three employees who have been with the company for ten years.  Corbie Garber, Jeremy Krull, and Cory Whitehead were each presented with a commemorative clock at the DJ Construction company meeting in November.  All three have worked as carpenters throughout their careers.  Read more.

(December 7, 2009)  DJ Construction and Plumrose USA recently announced the completion of an interior renovation project at Plumrose's 24402 CR 45 location in Elkhart involving 4,300 square feet.  Read more.

Two DJ Employees Now ASHE-Certified!

(November 30, 2009)  Two DJ employees have completed the requirements to become ASHE-Certified.  ASHE (the American Society for Healthcare Engineering of the American Hospital Association) creates and oversees this healthcare construction certification program.  Read more.

Maple City Health Care Center Completes Addition/Renovation Project

(November 5, 2009)  Maple City Health Care Center now has new exam rooms and expanded office space thanks to the recent completion of a significant addition/renovation project.  The project added a partial second floor to the 213 Middlebury Street facility, located across from Chamberlain Elementary School.  DJ Construction was the general contractor.  Read more.

Major Renovation Complete at Sugar Grove Church

(October 29, 2009)  Nearly every area of Sugar Grove Church has been newly renovated in partnership with DJ Construction.  The renovation project affected approximately 30,000 sq. ft. spread over the church's two stories.  More parking space was also added on the site.  Read more.

Bremen First United Church of Christ Completes Addition

(October 12, 2009)  The narthex addition at Bremen First United Church of Christ is now complete!  DJ Construction was the DesignBuilder for the project.  Read more.

MMA Completes Phase I of Its Major Office Upgrade

(October 6, 2009)  Mennonite Mutual Aid (MMA) has completed Phase I of its major office upgrade in partnership with DJ Construction.  The project involved the addition of new office space to the east end of MMA's 1110 North Main Street facility in Goshen.  The project will be completed in three phases and is targeting Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification through the U.S. Green Building Council.  Read more.

Fred Blosser Retires from DJ Construction After 48 Years!

(October 5, 2009)  In 1961, Fred Blosser worked at Doriot's Sunoco in Goshen pumping gas where founding brothers Don and Joe Schrock of DJ Construction bought fuel for their trucks and equipment.  He often asked them if they had a job opening for him, and in September of that year, they did.  On September 14, 1961, Fred Blosser accepted a position as a carpenter at DJ Construction.  Read more.

Syracuse Street Department Completes Addition

(August 24, 2009)  The Syracuse Street Department has completed an addition at its facility located at 1 Conrad Street.  DJ Construction was the general contractor for the project, under the direction of Special Projects Superintendent Lon Roth.  Read more.

NIBCO Opens New Fitness Room for Employees

(August 21, 2009)  NIBCO now has a new fitness room for its employees.  DJ Construction was the general contractor for the renovation project which involved 1,900 square feet at NIBCO's 1516 Middlebury Street headquarters.  Read more.

Interra Credit Union Breaks Ground for New Nappanee Branch

(July 15, 2009)  Interra Credit Union is beginning construction of a new branch in Nappanee!  The office will provide more space and convenience for the credit union's Nappanee members.  It is scheduled for completion early next year and will be located at the intersection of Oakland Ave. and US 6.  The full-service office will include a lobby, four drive-up lanes with a night depository, and a 51-space parking lot.  DJ Construction is excited to continue our relationship with Interra Credit Union with the construction of the new branch!

AMBS Library and Campus Center Achieves LEED Gold Certification

(July 2, 2009)  Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS) just became the owner of Elkhart County's first LEED certified building.  The new Library and Campus Center, located on the AMBS campus at 3003 Benham Ave., officially received this certification from the United States Green Building Council on June 4, 2009.  DJ Construction was the general contractor for the building project.  Read more.
