Building Use – Daily Gathering Space Project Size – 12,300 sq. ft. Building Facts – The Granger Commons Addition at Granger Community Church (GCC) includes The Eatery, a dining establishment open 7 days a week, Reads & Things, a bookstore/gift shop, and plenty of room to relax and unwind with a fireplace, seating areas, and free WiFi. The mission of Granger Commons is to serve the Michiana Community through creating local job opportunities, training local leaders, contributing to the local economy, and making an impact on individuals and families in the community. DJ helped the church through a necessary value engineering process in the design phase that allowed them to cut $1 million out of the cost of the project and get it within the church's desired cost range.

Mill Creek Missionary Church - Rochester
Building Use – Worship/fellowship Project Size – 6,060 sq. ft. Building Facts – The church relocated to this brand new building from its former building, also on SR 25 in Rochester. This relocation was the result of several years of careful planning to develop a solution that meets the church's current needs while allowing for significant opportunities to expand its ministries in the future. Mill Creek intends to develop the 10 acres on this site to offer outdoor recreational activities for the community along with the ability for the building to grow in step with the growth and needs of the church.

Building Use – Addition and renovations to youth area Project Size – 5,980 sq. ft., two stories Building Facts – Addition includes an elevator, new reception hall, and new restrooms. Existing kitchen underwent a complete renovation.

First Brethren Church of Nappanee
Building Use – Christian education addition, nursery renovation Project Size – 5,800 sq. ft.new space in two stories; 1,000 sq. ft. renovated space Building Facts – Seven new classrooms and a workroom were added to the building. In addition to nursery renovation, wheelchair lift was installed. Addition was carefully matched to original building. Second floor youth room provides a more spacious and exciting area for the youth of the church.

Grace Community Church – Goshen
Building Use – Alternative worship space, teen gathering area and large children's addition, new, larger foyer with covered drop-off canopy Project Size – 27,890 with two stories Building Facts – Addition has open foyer and loft at new entrance. New alternative worship space extends the worship service through a satellite feed. Curved masonry interior and exterior walls in foyer and vaulted ceilings in foyer and loft.

Bremen First United Church of Christ
Building Use – New narthex Project Size – 2,730 sq. ft. Building Facts – Wood-framed addition features two new entrance canopies and provides space for the church to continue to expand its ministries. The design team worked hard to incorporate the existing exterior stained glass windows into the new space. The new narthex provides area for fellowship. A new wheelchair lift was added to provide accessibility for church members.

Sugar Grove Church - Goshen
Building Use – Major renovations throughout the church Project Size – Approx. 30,000 sq. ft. Building Facts – Nearly every area of the church was renovated, and parking space was added. It remained occupied during construction. The project included a new elevator and children's wing and expanding the original youth room to create space for a new cafe worship service.

Bremen Church of the Brethren
Building Use – New facility Project Size – 11,550 sq. ft. Building Facts – Bremen Church of the Brethren outgrew its former location and how has the necessary space to continue to expand its ministries. All church functions take place in the new facility. The space is flexible with movable partition walls. The masonry and wood roof building also has a drive-through canopy.

Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church - Bristol
Building Use – New facility Project Size – 9,783 sq. ft. Building Facts – New facility offers church more options for ministries. Gives congregation an updated space in which they can continue to grow. Building holds a sanctuary, classrooms, church office, fellowship hall, chapel and more. Exterior features stone/split-faced block appearance with gables and a steeple. Inside, building contains sitting area with gas fireplace as well as small chapel open 24/7.

Granger Community Church Elkhart Campus
Building Use – Worship/fellowship Project Size – Renovation Building Facts – DJ finished a renovation of the former St. John's United Church of Christ facility, which was donated to GCC, to create a new home for GCC's Elkhart Campus. The project created a new auditorium and restrooms as well as several other updates. The project was set on a fast time-line with a limited budget and the need for volunteer coordination. The team tackled these challenges and finished the project on-time and on-budget.

Elkhart Calvary Assembly of God
Building Use – Worship/fellowship Project Size – 8,278 sq. ft. Building Facts – Elkhart Calvary Assembly of God has a new cafe and foyer area at its Mishawaka Rd. facility with the completion of a renovation project. The project included a new welcome center and restrooms in addition to the cafe and foyer upgrades. The church's goal in the project was to make its facility a better reflection of its culture with a friendlier and more welcoming appearance.

Harvest Community Church - Goshen
Building Use – Worship/fellowship Project Size – 6,300 sq. ft. Building Facts – Harvest Community Church (formerly Zion Chapel) has finished construction on an addition at its facility on CR 34. The new space will meet the growing demands of the congregation's ministries that serve the community as well as the church. Those ministries include Celebrate Recovery, an effective solution to hurts, habits, and hang-ups, and MOPS (Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers) that serves over 40 young mothers, mostly from outside the church. The addition houses meeting rooms, new offices, and storage space. It is a wood-framed, single-story structure that wraps around the original octagonal sanctuary.

Harvest Bible Chapel - Granger
Building Use – Worship/fellowship Project Size – Renovation Building Facts – Harvest Bible Chapel partnered with DJ to renovate and add space to the former Cornerstone Community Church facility, which Harvest adopted when the two congregations merged. The original worship center was renovated and expanded, and a new foyer area was created. When the project began, Harvest was meeting at Northpoint Elementary School on Cherry Rd., where it had met since its founding in 2009. Since then, the congregation has grown to over 600 members.

AMBS Chapel of the Sermon on the Mount - Elkhart
Building Use – Worship gatherings on Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary's Campus Project Size – 7,800 sq. ft. addition/renovation Building Facts – The 47-year-old chapel was renovated to achieve better energy efficiency and to provide air-conditioning for summer use. Main floor washrooms and an elevator were added to increase accessibility for all who come to worship there, and the sanctuary received new furniture, electrical and sound systems and energy efficient windows. The chapel, originally built in 1965, is an important feature on the AMBS campus. The chapel tower stands as the highest structure, meant to emphasize the importance of worship. The building itself was originally designed to reflect nonconformity to the world with its skewed positioning in relation to the other buildings on campus, as well as its walls, which do not form neat 90 degree anges. These features remain intact.

Bremen Church of the Brethren Preschool Addition
Building Use – Preschool/classrooms Project Size – 4,833 sq. ft. Building Facts – Before the addition began, DJ helped the building committee develop several options, which were then presented to the Church Board and at a Congregational Business Meeting for a vote. The addition the church decided upon matches the existing building, which DJ also built for the church in 2009. The restrooms are built to double as a storm shelter. The addition houses the church's preschool, as well as a Jr/Sr High youth room and other classroom space.
